a culture quantifying everything via money.. i find this fascinating.
when i was little, my parents taught me that to throw away food is just bad. they never provided reason. they didn’t need to. most certainly, they never mentioned money.
having a small footprint on an already tired planet is a core human value in my book. who ever had the notion they could blatantly connect it to something as artificial as money, is beyond me.
on the other hand, and equally fascinating, this same nation cares to fill in the cracks in its own culture. so yeah, don’t throw away food.. it’s not because of money.
